Woodland Creatures

The inspirations for the animals from the woods can come from any scenario, be they real or mythical. Typically, in Florida, when the weather gets cooler or the water gets rough, its time to go to the woods. Campfires and the beauty of the woods is like another world from the ocean or the waterways. The seasonal change brings with it a completely new set of colors and textures than the wildlife in the water. The woodland animals have a more rugged, less graceful feel to me than the marine life.
